HIS PROTECTING HAND
“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with
thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest
through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon
thee.”

In the past month, I have received more than thirty emails from people who are
in the middle of a crisis and are facing devastating circumstances. Jesus tells
us that He will be with us and that all the criticism, sarcasm and hatred that
the world and satan hurls at us will not overflow us. We will come through
victorious by the protecting hand of Jesus.
I can tell you from personal experience that there is nothing, absolutely
nothing, that Jesus can’t fix. He took me from under a bed in a mental hospital
many years ago, lifted me up and sat me on His lap of Love, put His arms of
compassion, understanding, forgiveness, mercy, grace and tenderness about me and
He has never let me go, not even for one minute. Is it any wonder that I say
over and over again, there is no one like Jesus! There is no friend like Jesus
and nobody loves us like He does!
Yes, Jesus protects us from the poisonous darts of satan, but He also protects
other people when we are the ones to hurl criticism, sarcasm and unforgiveness
at them. We are so quick to point out someone else’s faults, but we don’t like
to admit that we make mistakes and hurt people also.
If you are walking through a difficult time in your life, place your hand in the
hand of Jesus. He will be faithful to protect, comfort, encourage and guide you.
Reach out to Jesus because He is reaching out to you.
