IT WAS LEFT BEHIND

“And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Revelation 20: 12, 15

King James Version

A man tore down the shed that was between my trailer and the trailer in front of me yesterday, but he left a lot of junk laying in the yard. We leave many things behind in our lives. If there is a divorce in the family, we leave broken hearts and broken homes. When we have arguments, we leave unforgiveness and turmoil. One day, Jesus is going to return for us and if our names are not written in the book of life we will be left behind.

It doesn’t matter what we believe, the Word of God is true and nothing we say or do can change what He has told us. I received an email a few days ago and the lady sent me a website to go visit. She told me that I would find out the truth about eternity and hell. She said that nobody will spend eternity in hell. I didn’t reply to the email and I certainly did not go to the website. That is a lie straight from the pits of hell.

These verses tell us that we are going to be judged according to our works and not what we say. We can tell people all day long that Jesus Loves them, but if we never do something to prove He Loves them, not only are they not going to believe us, our lip service is in vain and meaningless. We must show them by the way we live our lives and the way we treat them that Jesus is a Saviour of Love. Please don’t get left behind when the trumpet sounds and Jesus returns for us. Open your heart to the Christ of Calvary and ask Him to forgive your sins and save you.
