"I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb"

In this glade tranquility abounds,
Your soothing presence surrounds,
I hear your whispers in the stream,
Your grace lies on this serene scene.

Your spirit is in the calming breeze,
The gentle rustling of forest leaves.
I feel your tenderness so very near,
Clearly Lord Jesus, you are here.

I came to you as a child in this place
With heavy heart and saddened face,
I sought relief from pains of childhood,
You gave comfort as no other could.

I've wandered the world on a quest
Searching for cherished happiness,
Never remembering all the while
Where I'd found it as a troubled child.

Father it is here I return to you again,
Seeking forgiveness of my worldly sin.
For years I've strayed from your grace,
Once more I return with tear stained face.

Father, I pray for forgiveness this day
For the burdens of my life heavy lay.
My sins have been many, my regrets few,
Jesus, I kneel as your child before you.

As a child of your creation I beg salvation
I seek once again our heavenly relation,
I am lost and alone, I want to come home
For with you Father is where I belong.

I kneel to you in this cool forest glade,
Let your holy shadow be my shade.
Jesus, accept this sinner meek and mild
Love me now, As when I was a child.
