His Temple


The House of God
in Old Testament times,
exalted the Savior
in purples and pageantry,
like a palace of poetry,
in meters and rhymes.

The House of God
in today’s modern times,
is magnificent and marvelous,
in splendid structures,
of churches and cathedrals with chapels.

But Gods’ spirit lives
in the hearts of believers
who attend these structures,
and they become
His Temple.
