I was born on August 9th, 1944 in Stanley, New Mexico. I have  written the encouragements for the Prayer Chapel at First Baptist Church for over two years now. This is a growing process.

 

My husband of forty-one years and I, have two sons, three wonderful grandsons, (the smartest and cutest in Colorado). We are retired and love the freedom it brings. We went to New York City last summer on a missionary trip with UPWARD BASKETBALL, a program through our church. It was after Billy Graham was there, and we feel we watered his seed.

 

My love is writing poetry.  I have won several poetry contests and am the current NEW MEXICO SENIOR POET LAUREATE at " Amy Kitchener's Angels Without Wings Foundation."  I won this in 2004 also as well as placed two poems in the top 100 poems at

73rd Writer's Digest contest out of Ohio.  I am a member of the BARDS OF A FEATHER group taught by Yvonne Nunn.

 

I am a member of FAITH WRITERS' and CROSS WAY PUBLICATIONS, both Internet writing sites.
